Deflagration Flame Arrester

Elmac Technologies® can supply different types and configurations of in-line deflagration flame arresters, suitable for a wide variety of industries and applications. LCA and LEA flame arresters have multiple variants for operating pressure, temperature and short-time-burn and are suitable for explosion groups IIA1 and IIA.

DFB and SGE-IB deflagration flame arresters are suitable for use up to explosion group IIB3, whilst DFC arresters are suitable for explosion group IIC. MB-IB microbore deflagration flame arresters are specifically designed for use in process and instrumentation lines. DFB, DFC, LCA, LEA and SGE-IB arresters all have replaceable elements.

In-line deflagration flame arresters are designed to prevent propagation of flames in piping systems. By locating the arrester in close proximity to the potential source of ignition, any flame or explosion is confined to the immediate area.
